I’m a writer, MFA student, and animal enthusiast with work in The New York Times, Observer Magazine, and a few advertisements, too.

My Rat Terrier, Toby, will tell you that I moved to New York City from Long Island over 15 years ago, still bleach my tips, and love dabbling in fiction. To his dismay, I also bring a lot of disruptive hobbies into the apartment. Ukulele? Fail. Flag spinning? Win!

And last but not least, some people call me a butterfly whisperer. I volunteer as a docent at the Butterfly Exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History–stop by and I’ll regale you with facts about animal courtship behaviors.

Thanks for checking out my work, and don’t hesitate to reach out.
